Flower Flower by Kenzo. Since I was a little girl and smelled it on my mum I fell in love with it.

I don't have a favourite colour because is difficult for me to decide but ... lilac and aquamarine are beautiful - but sadly not together -.

9. Do you drink energy drinks?
No. Only when I've exercised a lot or the day after I've drunk a lot of alcohol. I don't get hungover but I guess it's a habit I began to do - a ritual you could say - I do every single time after I've drunk.

Orange juice at morning. There's nothing more refreshing.

13. Favourite moisturiser?
Mmm ... My "lait de roses" by O'ccitanne. It smells sooo good.

Review : Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

Ello everyone!

I remember to have asked my sister why people said this book was "dark". I had just finished reading Alienated by Melissa Landers and I was in all that alien stuff, so when my sister told me to read this book I expected it to be with alien stuff too. I remember being in the middle of the book asking myself when the alien stuff would come up - stupid me -. Now that I finished this book I know why people called it "dark".

Hopeless (Hopeless, #1)

Sometimes discovering the truth can leave you more hopeless than believing the lies…

That’s what seventeen-year-old Sky realizes after she meets Dean Holder. A guy with a reputation that rivals her own and an uncanny ability to invoke feelings in her she’s never had before. He terrifies her and captivates her all in the span of just one encounter, and something about the way he makes her feel sparks buried memories
from a past that she wishes could just stay buried.

Sky struggles to keep him at a distance knowing he’s nothing but trouble, but Holder insists on learning everything about her. After finally caving to his unwavering pursuit, Sky soon finds that Holder isn't at all who he’s been claiming to be. When the secrets he’s been keeping are finally revealed, every single facet of Sky’s life will change forever.

To begin, this story at the beginning was kind of weird. The heroine was... not my favourite simply. First of all I couldn't understand how a girl of seventeen years old had never experienced sexual attraction for anyone.

"The real reason I enjoy making out with guys is simply because it makes me feel completely and comfortably numb."

I hate that Sky said things like this because it shows me how immature she is - trying to escape her problems/feelings/etc kind of shit - and I just hate when an heroine is like this in a book.

I also didn't like that Sky was completely fine with the aggressive and stalkerish ways of Dean Holder. I totally didn't get how she didn't find something was seriously wrong, and decided to act like the stupidest girl ever when a stranger do these kind of things:

  • Glares at you in a supermarket - which could be normal - but then says "Hey" to you. At least you're intelligent enough to get out of there as quick as possible.
  • Said stranger follows you to your car and asks your name and acts as if the previous episode hasn't happened -that would make me think he's bipolar - but because he makes you feel butterflies in your tummy you act as if his behaviour was completely normal.
  • Then the stranger, who now introduced himself - with a name that maybe is not his real name -doesn't let you close your car's door because you haven't said your name to him yet - THAT would freak me out - but because of said butterflies you just tell him your name.
  • The guy doesn't believe you when you tell him your name, and because you're not afraid that he could be a real stalker or something, you hand him your ID with all the information - such as you address - that shouldn't be lend to a creepy bipolar with possibly a false name stranger.
  • When you're finally able to leave you see by your rearview mirror that he's smashing his fist into a car's hood that could possibly not even be his. But again that aggressive and stalkerish behaviour doesn't give you the creeps because his handsomeness is giving you instead butterflies in your tummy.
  • Then when you find out that said stranger was sent to juvi because he beat up someone, and see him again, you decide to not get out of his sight and even worst: you tell him details of your running routine. Which you do ALONE.
  • This guy then gives you some liquid not identified as water. It could have had drugs on it but again you decide to ignore logic and drink it because you're thirsty.
  • Then the guy steals away your bottle to refill it with "water" out of your sight. To to me that's the perfect time to put some drugs on the "water".
  • He then says your full name, birthday, address, heigh and organ donor status as if he was talking of the weather. You still haven't freaked out because you "want to wrap yourself around his glistening sweaty arms".
  • You allow this creepy stranger to run with you to your house - after all the weird and wrong stuff - and when he admits he stalked you on Facebook and who knows where else you're just thing about him shirtless.
  • Then you faint simply because he flashes you his dimple-laden grin.

There are so many more things like this that I found completely ridiculous. This girl did everything what our mothers tell us NOT to do with strangers when we're children.

But okay, enough with the bad criticism... let's talk about what little I did enjoyed on this book.

Even if Sky was completely ridiculous when it came to Holder what I totally could appreciate was her bravery. Even when her best friend convinced her to enroll in High School and then abandoned her for a exchange program, Sky was brave enough to continue with her decision and face school alone, with no allies, friends and a horrible reputation that was obviously going to make of her a target of bullying. There are other situations in which her bravery blows me away, but I don't want to make this too long.

Also after all the aggressive, stalker, creepy and bipolar stuff is left behind I begun to enjoy the romance between Sky and Holder. I wish all couples would be as strong as they were - there would be certainly many less divorces -.

" - Live. If you mix the letters up in the words like and love you get live. You can use that word.

He laughs again, but this time it's a laugh of relief. He wraps his arms around me and he kisses me with nothing but a hell of a lot of relief.

- I live you sky - he says against my lips - I live you so much."

It was awe-inspiring how the two of them tried to help each other. The way they tried to support each other, be the rock of the other. All that just made me wish to find a good boyfriend that will stick up with me if my life turns shit. I found really cool in this book that a TEENAGERS couple could overcome that many obstacles that in my opinion weren't light stuff at all.

"Knowing you still want me is more of a necessity now than it was before my life turned to shit"

And finally even is the best friend didn't participate that much on the book - because of the exchange program - I loved that even if she was away she still cared about Sky. I appreciate when authors add real friendship to the story instead of the typical backstabbing bitch.

I know I still haven't said why I found "dark"this book but even if this review has some spoilers I still don't want to give away too much. When I asked my sister why it was "dark" she wouldn't tell me because it would ruin the mystery. I'm glad she didn't tell me because the mystery - and the hope of reading some alien stuff - was the only thing that kept me reading till the end.

Monday TAG : Book boyfriend TAG

Ello everybody!

I decided to make of Mondays the "TAG day" which means, obviously, that every Monday I'll be uploading a new TAG that caught my attention or I simply love.

With nothing more to add, let us begin!

Outlander (Outlander, #1)

1. Most romantic boyfriend

Without a doubt is obviously Jamie Fraser from Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. The way he is from the beginning with Claire made me swoon every second while I read this book.

Rules of Attraction (Perfect Chemistry, #2)

2. Dark and moody bad boy with a good side
There are so many characters with this stereotype, but if I have to choose one it'd be Carlos Fuentes from Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles.

Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1)

3. Paranormal boyfriend
Bones from the Night Huntress Series by Jeanine Frost. I have a weakness for british accents and Bone's arrogance and humor makes impossible for me to resist him.

Fallen Crest High (Fallen Crest High, #1)

4. Boyfriend you want to tame
Humf, I'm not sure if I'd be able to tame somebody - it's not just who I am - but Mason Kade from Fallen Crest High by Tijan is definitely somebody I wouldn't mind to tame *wink wink*

City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)

5. Boy you friend zoned
It's not that I'm mean or anything but just like some others did... I'll have to choose Simon Lewis from The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Claire. He's a good guy, really, but he doesn't have that spark other male characters have that makes me love them.

Nothing Left to Lose

6. Your soul mate
I just LOVE, love, love Asthon Taylor from Nothing Left to Lose by Kirsty Moseley. We are soulmates. He's everything I'd like in a boyfriend: badass, confident, sweet, protective, hot - as shit - and just lovable! Why can't I find my Ashton in real life?

The Marriage Bargain (Marriage to a Billionaire, #1)

7. Boyfriend you want to elope with
Definitely Nicholas Ryan from The Marriage Bargain by Jennifer Probst. At the end he turns out to be a good guy - totally would marry him - and him being a millionaire is definitely a plus.

Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1)

8. Boyfriend you'd venture anywhere with
That would be Ethan Sullivan from Chicagoland Vampires Series by Chloe Neill because who wouldn't like a sexy vampire of four hundred years to tell you the history - in first-person - of the places you're visiting.

The Son of Neptune (The Heroes of Olympus, #2)

9. Boyfriend you'd want to be stranded on a desert island with
Percy Jackson from The heroes of Olympus Series - I chose him in this serie because he's 17 years old and not 12 like at the beginning of Percy Jackson & The Olympians Series - by Rick Riordan is my guy. Because he can to talk to fishes fishing shouldn't be a problem - I guess -. And with his ability to control the sea and sailing almost anything we could leave whenever we wanted.

Divergent (Divergent, #1)

10. Most badass boyfriend
There are - again - a lot of badasses characters out there. But I find that Tobias Eaton - Four - from Divergent by Veronica Roth is the man for this. Since the first book I fell in love with his everything and in my mind I pictured him really hot. Then I saw the film and I fell in love again.

And that's it! All the book covers are from Goodreads - click HERE to go to their website - and don't forget to comment below if you fell in love with one of these guys too while you read ;)
